French Stoneware Lidded Butter Pot, imperfect
Note: These pieces are especially rustic and have small chips that look like the occurred quite some time ago-- almost no two are alike! We think they are quite beautiful, but please be aware they may not be for everyone. If you would like to see additional photos please contact us.
A lidded pot crafted of Loire Valley clay, thrown by hand. Traditionally used for storing butter, we plan to use ours to hold kosher salt on the counter by the stove.
Manufactured by the craftsmen at Poterie Renault, a five generation family-run company, which produced exquisite ceramics in the Loire Valley from 1865 until 2016. When the factory closed their doors, the remaining stock was left untouched until today. Extremely limited supply.
