The L'armor folding knife's singular style is the product of its maritime Breton origins, signified by the brass anchor inlay on the horn handle. Designed for use by mariners and fishermen of Bretagne. The rounded top edge of the blade is meant to protect sailors from inadvertent stabbing on rough seas. 

Manufactured by Au Sabot in La Monnerie le Montel, just outside Thiers, in the heart of French knifemaking country. Au Sabot, with its distinctive wood shoe marque, has produced cutlery for more than 145 years, and carries the "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" label, recognition of its excellence in know-how and craftsmanship. Stainless steel blade. Horn handle. Care: Wipe with a soft cloth after use; hand washing.
